Invitation for Bids for BHA Cleaning Services

The Bloomington Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking bids from qualified companies or individuals to provide weekly Cleaning Services for the Administrative Building at 1007 N. Summit St. and the Community Building at 1002 N. Summit St. See Scope of Work below for details. We are also requesting hourly pricing for additional cleaning services as needed. There may be multiple contract(s) issued. The contract term will be annual, not to exceed five years. Separate contracts may be issued for additional services, hazmat and/or meth cleanup. Contracts will be executed to lowest bid per work item. If the contractor is unable to fulfill their duties, the next lowest priced contractor will be contacted to complete contract work as needed. The BHA reserves the right to terminate the contract(s) at any time.

There will be a one-time meeting on Friday, April 6th at 10:00 am to discuss the scope of work and this invitation for bid.

Any Questions regarding the scope of services or the terms and conditions must be submitted in writing no later than April 9th at 10:00 am and shall be addressed to Rhonda Moore, Capital Assets Manager at rmoore@blha.net or delivered to 1007 N. Summit St.

Proposals are due at the BHA office no later than Friday, April 13, 2018, at 10:00 am in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as “Cleaning Services #2017-09”. Proposals shall be delivered to Bloomington Housing Authority, Attn: Rhonda Moore, 1007 N. Summit St., Bloomington, IN 47404 or by email at rmoore@blha.net

SCOPE OF WORK:

The base contract will be for general cleaning of the BHA Administration Building, and Community Building is to be done every weekend and Wednesday afternoons. The contractor is to supply all cleaning supplies and equipment. BHA supplies toilet paper, trash bags and floor wax for administrative and community buildings.
