  • News

The Bloomington Housing Authority (BHA) periodically reviews its ACOP to ensure that its policies are compliant with the latest rules and regulations issued by HUD and that it’s Public Housing Program is operated in a manner that is effective, efficient, and beneficial to residents.
Many of the changes highlighted are due to the upcoming transition of an online Public Housing application and waitlist check system effective May 15, 2015 at Noon EST. The changes are only in Chapters 3 and 4.

A complete copy of the agency’s proposed ACOP Chapters 3 and 4, including the full text of all changes listed below, has been posted to BHA’s website (www.bhaindiana.net).

A complete copy of the proposed ACOP chapters and the unchanged chapters can also be viewed at the Housing Authority’s main office (1007 N Summit St., Bloomington, IN 47404) Monday thru Friday during normal business hours.

BHA welcomes public comment on the proposed changes to its ACOP from April 24 to May 24, 2015.
Written comments can be mailed to the attention of Janice Price at the Housing Authority’s main office or emailed to jprice@blha.net.
