Join us June 3rd from 4-7pm for a night of family fun that offers free food, free raffles, free games, free information and free entertainment. Family Night Out is an annual event hosted by the Bloomington Housing Authority and the Bloomington Housing Authority Resident Council. The block party type atmosphere sets the scene for a celebration of the diversity of families in our community while providing a safe, fun and educational environment for residents of all ages. The BHA partners with many area agencies that attend Family Night Out to hand out information or promotional items to residents. This year the theme for Family Night Out is “Family Fun” in an effort to promote the various activities that families can participate in throughout the year. The BHA takes pride in supporting the youth of our community by partnering with several youth oriented groups such as the Crestmont Castles Chess Club, The Crestmont Boys and Girls Club and the Lego League. This is a great opportunity to meet new residents or to catch up with your neighbors and friends. Summit Street will be closed for this event, so take a walk through Family Night Out to see what is has to offer. There will be carnival style games for kids, a live DJ, Bingo for adults and food for everyone. Please show your support for our community by planning to attend this event with your family, neighbors and friends.
