Community Partners

City of Bloomington

The City of Bloomington contributed buildable lots with infrastructure from the Trinitas Development near 17th St and Arlington St, as well as providing capacity building funding to Summit Hill CDC. The Community Land Trust is partnering with the Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) department’s Homebuyer’s Club to prepare homeowners for buying houses through the Community Land Trust. Potential homebuyers must participate in the HAND Homebuyer’s Club to qualify for the shared-equity program.

Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County

Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County is partnering with the CLT as both a builder and a lender. HFHMC will build Habitat houses on lots provided by the CLT and sell the homes to homeowners who have completed Habitat’s homeownership classes.
