Public notice is hereby given that the Bloomington Housing Authority Board of Commissioners’ regular monthly meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 28th, 2026 at 8:30 am in the Lindsey A. At this meeting, the Bloomington Housing Authority (the “Authority”), on behalf of itself and the Common Council of the City of Bloomington, Indiana, will hold a public hearing with respect to the issuance by the Authority of its General Revenue Bonds (Bloomington Portfolio Acquisition Project), in one or more series or sub-series, with a maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed One Hundred Million Dollars ($100,000,000), to be issued pursuant to IC 36-7-18 et seq., the proceeds of which will be used to acquire, construct, renovate, fund capital improvements, working capital and certain necessary reserve funds for a housing project for persons and families of low income within the meaning of IC 36-3-18-3. The project(s) location(s) are at the following addresses: (a) Basswood Apartments located at 1000 S. Basswood Circle, (b) Kingston Manor Apartments, located at 3200 E. Longview Avenue, (c) Northcrest Apartments located at 1440 N. Woodburn Avenue, (d) Woodland Springs Apartments, located at 3111 S. Leonard, and (e) Summit Pointe Apartments, located at 701 E. Summit View Place, Bloomington, Indiana.
The public is invited to submit written comments to the Executive Director of the Authority at 1007 N. Summit Street,, Bloomington, Indiana 47404 on or before 5:00 p.m., July 25, 2026, or provide comments at the time of the public hearing. This public hearing is being held pursuant to the provisions of IC 5-3-2.
